【摘要】:ThispartofIEC60603-7coversIEC60603-7-5connectors,andspecifiesmechanicalandenvironmentalrequirements,andelectricaltransmissionrequirementsforfrequenciesupto250MHz.Theseconnectorsaretypicallyusedascategory6connectorsinclassEcablingsystemsspecifiedinISO/IEC11801:2002.Theseconnectorsareintermateable,interoperable,andbackwardcompatiblewithotherIEC60603-7seriesconnectors.WhilethedefinitionofinteroperableisbeingdiscussedwithinIEC,“interoperable”inthisstandardmeansthefollowing:ThefixedandthefreeconnectorarecapableofinterconnectingwithanyIEC60603-7seriesconnector,andthatwhenitisinterconnected,itfullymeetsallrequirementsofthelowerfrequencyIEC60603-7seriesstandard.NOTETransmissionperformancecategories:inthispartofIEC60603-7,theterm“category”,whenusedinreferencetotransmissionperformance,referstothosecategoriesdefinedbyISO/IEC11801:2002.
