【摘要】:ThispartofEN351establishesclassificationforpreservative-treatedwoodintermsofpreservativepenetrationandgivesguidanceonaclassificationofretention.Theseshouldbeusedasabasisforspecifyingpreservativetreatmentsforparticularproducts.ThispartofEN351providesterminologytobeusedbythespecifierwhenpreparingapreservativetreatmentspecificationorproductstandard.Itisnotatreatmentspecificationinitself.ThispartofEN351isapplicabletotheproductionofpreservative-treatedsolidwood,includinggluedlaminatedtimber,suitableforuseinthoseserviceconditionsdefinedbytheuseclassesinEN335-1.Itdoesnotapplytoanysubsequentexaminationoftreatedwoodinservice.ThispartofEN351isapplicabletotheprotectionofwoodagainstattackbywood-destroyingandwood-disfiguringfungi,insectsandmarineorganisms.ThispartofEN351doesnotconsiderotherpropertiesoftreatedwood,forexampleodour,corrosivenessandcompatibilitywithothermaterials,nordoesitconsideranypropertiesfromthehealth,safetyandenvironmentalpointofview.ThispartofEN351doesnotapplytowoodtreatedwithformulationsthatareappliedtotimberinservicetoeliminateorcontrolanexistingfungalorinsectinfestation,ortopreventattackbysapstainfungi,orinsectsingreentimber.
