MIL-STD-10A (NOTICE 2), MILITARY STANDARD: SURFACE ROUGHNESS, WAVINESS, AND LAY (25 OCT 1963) [S/S BY ANSI B46.1-78]., This standard establishes a uniform system for the identification and specification of the geometric irregularities of the surfaces of solid materials. It provides, through the use of symbols and numerical classifications, a means for accurately expressing surface roughness, waviness, and lay requirements on drawings, in specifications, or verbally.

【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardisapplicabletoCOTSsoftwareproducts.b)certificationbodiesthatmaywishtoestablishathird-partycertificationscheme(international,regionalornational)(ISO/IECGuide28);c)testinglaboratorieswhichwillhavetofollowtheinstructionsfortestingwhentestingforacertificateoramarkofconformity(ISO/IEC17025);d)accreditationbodiesforaccreditingregistrationorcertificationbodiesandtestinglaboratories;e)potentialacquirerswhomay:1)comparetherequirementsfortheintendedworktaskwiththeinformationinproductdescriptionsofexistingsoftwareproducts;2)lookforcertifiedCOTSsoftwareproduct;3)checkiftherequirementsareotherwisemet;f)enduserswhomayprofitfrombettersoftwareproducts;g)organizations:1)establishingmanagementandengineeringenvironmentsbasedonthequalityrequirementsandmethodsofthisinternationalstandard;and2)managingandimprovingtheirqualityprocessesandpersonnel;h)regulatoryauthoritieswhomayrequireorrecommendtherequirementsofthisInternationalStandardforCOTSsoftwareproductsusedinsafetyorbusiness-criticalapplications.AnnexCprovidesguidanceontheuseofthisInternationalStandard.InthisInternationalStandard,theterm"COTS"isusedasanadjectiveandstandsfor"CommercialOff-The-Shelf".EXAMPLEExamplesofCOTSsoftwareproductsincludebutarenotlimitedtotextprocessors,spreadsheets,databasecontrolsoftware,graphicspackages,softwarefortechnical,scientificorreal-timeembeddedfunctions,suchasreal-timeoperatingsystemsorlocalareanetworksforaviation/communication,automatedtellermachines,moneyconversion,humanresourcesmanagementsoftware,salesmanagement,andwebsoftwaresuchasgeneratorsofwebsites/pages.ThisInternationalStandardestablishes:a)QualityrequirementsforCOTSsoftwareproducts;b)RequirementsfortestdocumentationforthetestingofCOTSsoftwareproducts,includingtestrequirements,testcases,andtestreporting;c)InstructionsforconformityevaluationofCOTSsoftwareproducts.NOTEThecollectionofdocumentsfortestiscalled"testdocumentation".ItincludesalsorecommendationsforsafetyorbusinesscriticalCOTSsoftwareproducts.ThisInternationalStandarddealsonlywithprovidingtheuserconfidencethattheCOTSsoftwareproductwillperformasofferedanddelivered.Itdoesnotdealwiththeproductionprocess(includingactivitiesandintermediateproducts,e.g.specifications).ThequalitysystemofasupplierisoutsidethescopeofthisInternationalStandard.TheintendedusersofthisInternationalStandardinclude:a)supplierswhen:1)specifyingrequirementsforaCOTSsoftwareproduct;2)advertisingperformanceclaimsfortheirproduct(ISO9127);3)assessingtheirownsoftwareproductsagainsttheclaimedperformance;4)issuingdeclarationsofconformity(ISO/IEC17050);5)applyingforcertificatesormarksofconformity(ISO/IECGuide23);
