【摘要】:Finiteelementanalysisisavaluablemethodforevaluatingtheperformanceofmetallicstentsandinquantifyingquantitiessuchasinternalstresses,internalstrains,anddeformationpatternsduetoappliedexternalloadsandboundaryconditions.Manytimesananalysisisperformedtocorrelatetoandplanexperimentaltests.Afiniteelementanalysisisespeciallyvaluableindeterminingquantitiesthatcannotbereadilymeasured.1.1Purpose8212;Thisguideestablishesgeneralrequirementsandconsiderationsforthedevelopmentoffiniteelementmodelsusedintheevaluationoftheperformanceofametallicvascularstentdesignunderuniformradialloading.Suggestedcriteriaareprovidedforevaluatingthetypicalcasesofmetallicstentsunderuniformradiallyorientedandpulsatileloading.Recommendedproceduresforcheckingandvalidatingthefiniteelementmodel(s)areprovidedasameanstoassessthemodelandanalysisresults.Finally,therecommendedcontentofanengineeringreportcoveringthemechanicalsimulationsispresented.1.2Limits:1.2.1Thisguideislimitedindiscussiontothefiniteelementstructuralanalysisofmetallicstentsofthefollowingtypes:1.2.1.1Plasticallydeformablemetalstents.1.2.1.2Self-expandingmetalstents.1.2.1.3Plasticallydeformablemetalportionsofcoveredstents.1.2.1.4Metalportionsofself-expandingcoveredmetalstents.1.2.2Theemphasisofthetechniquesdescribedinthisguideisintendedforbothelasto-plasticmaterialssuchasstainlesssteel,andsuperelasticmaterialssuchasnitinol.Uniqueconcernsassociatedwithstentsdesignedforshapememorybehaviorarenotaddressedwithinthisguide.1.2.3Thisguidedoesnotconsiderchangestopossibletimevaryingconditionsordifferentloadingsrelatedtovascularremodeling.1.2.4Thisguideisrestrictedtocasesthatinvolvetheapplicationofuniformradiallyorientedloading.1.2.5ThisguidedoesnotprovideguidanceintheapplicationorinterpretationofFEAindeterminingfatiguelife.1.2.6Thisguideisnotintendedtoincludecompletedescriptionsofthefiniteelementmethod,noritstheoreticalbasisandformulation.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.
