【摘要】:Thesetestmethodsprovideaccurateandreliableanalyticalprocedurestodeterminethechemicalconstituentsoflimestone,quicklime,andhydratedlime(SeeNote1).Thepercentagesofspecificconstituentswhichdetermineamaterialrsquo;qualityorfitnessforuseareofsignificancedependinguponthepurposeorenduseofthematerial.Resultsobtainedmaybeusedinrelationtospecificationrequirements.Becausequicklimeandhydratedlimequicklyabsorbwaterandcarbondioxidefromtheair,precisionandbiasareextremelydependentuponprecautionstakenduringsamplepreparationandanalysistominimizeexcessiveexposuretoambientconditions.Note18212;Thesetestmethodscanbeappliedtoothercalcareousmaterialsifprovisionsaremadetocompensateforknowninterferences.1.1Thesetestmethodscoverthechemicalanalysisofhigh-calciumanddolomiticlimestone,quicklime,andhydratedlime.Thesetestmethodsareclassifiedaseitherstandard(preferred)oralternative(optional).1.2Thestandardtestmethodsarethosethatemployclassicalgravimetricorvolumetricanalyticalproceduresandaretypicallythoserequiredforrefereeanalyseswherechemicalspecificationrequirementsareanessentialpartofcontractualagreementbetweenbuyerandseller.1.3Alternativeoroptionaltestmethodsareprovidedforthosewhowishtouseproceduresshorterormoreconvenientthanthestandardmethodsfortheroutinedeterminationsofcertainconstituents.Optionaltestmethodsmaysometimesbepreferredtothestandardtestmethods,butfrequentlytheuseofmodernandexpensiveinstrumentationisindicatedwhichmaynotbeaccessibletoeveryone.Therefore,theuseofthesetestmethodsmustbelefttothediscretionofeachlaboratory.1.4Theanalyticalproceduresappearinthefollowingorder:1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecificprecautionarystatements,see,,,,,and.
