【摘要】:ThispracticecoversinformationforthestorageanduseofLPGsamplesinstandardcylindersofthetypeusedinsamplingmethod,PracticeD1265andfloatingpistoncylindersusedinsamplingmethod,PracticeD3700.ThispracticeisespeciallyapplicablewhentheLPGsampleisusedasaqualitycontrol(QC)referencematerialforLPGtestmethods,suchasgaschromatography(GC)analysis(TestMethodD2163)orvaporpressure(TestMethodD6897)thatuseonlyafewmLpertest,sincerelativelysmallportableDepartmentofTransportation(DOT)cylinders(forexample,20lbcommonbarbecuecylinders)canbeused.Thispracticecanbeappliedtoothertestmethods.However,testmethodsthatrequirealargeamountofsamplepertest(forexample,manualvaporpressureTestMethodD1267)willrequireQCvolumesinexcessof1000LifstoredinstandardDOTcylindersorAmericanSocietyofMechanicalEngineers(ASME)vessels.
