【摘要】:Thispracticecoverstherequirementsfortheeffectivemonitoringofmineraloilandphosphateesterfluidlubricatingoilsinserviceauxiliary(non-turbine)equipmentusedforpowergeneration.Auxiliaryequipmentcoveredincludesgears,hydraulicsystems,dieselengines,pumps,compressors,andelectrohydrauliccontrol(EHC)systems.Itincludessamplingandtestingschedulesandrecommendedactionsteps,aswellasinformationonhowoilsdegrade.Note1-Othertypesofsyntheticlubricantsaresometimesusedbutarenotaddressedinthispracticebecausetheyrepresentonlyasmallfractionofthefluidsinuse.Usersofthesefluidsshouldconsultthemanufacturertodeterminerecommendedmonitoringpractices.Thispracticedoesnotcoverthemonitoringoflubricatingoilforsteamandgasturbines.Rather,itisintendedtocomplementPracticeD4378.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
